China, Chinese and the knock-off world
12.14.07 (2:35 am) [edit]I have been thinking of knock-offs for a while. I would not put it as I have been interested in them but I might as well admit that I had begun thinking of the whole meaning of them, and how they transform the whole world economy and meaning of what's real and what is fake. At this point, however, I have to question: isn't this world now a knock-off? I frequent Chinatown in Manhattan recently and ponder on the issue.
